COVID-19 Planning:
All team activities (including the planned start of Spring Football) have been postponed until further notice. We will follow the guidelines of authorities in the Greater Fort Bend area as we make decisions for future workouts and other team activities.
We do plan to get together and begin workouts when our local authorities deem it safe to do so. We will continue to send emails to all registered players as soon as plans are put in place. Please continue to check this website for updates. We are also sending out "on your own" workout information to keep in shape and keep in touch while we wait for a return to normal.
An offseason Parents Meeting will be scheduled at a later date.
Spring/Summer 2020 Registration is OPEN!
Please check the registration page for instructions on how to register your player for the Spring/Summer Session. While we are currently "on-hold" for team activities, your registration assures you will be kept informed of future plans and team activities as things become more clear.
Please continue to check this tab, the practice tab, or visit the Team Calendar for both team updates.
Conditioning:
Conditioning is all about general physical fitness. All around multi-sport fitness is an important part of childhood health. Studies have shown that boys who participate in multiple sports are healthier and less likely to have premature damage to joints and muscles. We encourage all our players to stay active and workout by either playing another sport or participating in a cross-sport style training program.
Off-Season conditioning (anytime we are not practicing) is very important. FBC has a partnership with Optimal Sports Performance (OSP) to provide student athlete training. When 10 or more FBC players are training the price is reduced by over 10%. Training is provided 3 times per week and is in addition to team off-season activities. The training schedule for OSP can be found at this link.
